New technology for riders

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Now that the fall weather is finally here avid skiers and snowboarders are looking forward to the snowy months.

Boards are being made more ride able, accessories are flashier, and the boots are more user friendly.

Dave Durfey, the owner of Credo Snow and Skate Shop, told 22News that there’s a lot of technology changing, especially boots and the way boards are made. New designs are allowing riders to get in and out of bindings and boots much easier. Bindings are also being made less clunky and more aerodynamic.
