Where to ski and snowboard for less

“France is not as expensive as you might think.” This was the message professed by Dave Watts, Editor of the Where to Ski & Snowboard guidebook and Executive Editor of Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard magazine at yesterday’s launch of the 2012 guidebook.

Watts went on to give the example of the £100 six-day lift pass available to visitors to Ste-Foy-Tarantaise. A bargain compared to the £300 plus that visitors to many North American resorts can expect to fork out. The figures were lifted from a Resort Price Index, devised by the book’s editorial team to help readers compare the price of a holiday in different resorts.
